I am no longer doing mobile grooming, I have opened a shop at my house instead. My goal is to make your baby and you happy and comfortable, creating the least amount of stress for all involved.
I am running the shop basically the same way I was doing the mobile service, one dog at  a time. You won't have to leave your baby all day long like at other shops, there is no reason for that.  In fact, you don't have to leave them at all, you are welcome to stay during the entire grooming if you like!

I have been grooming for almost 27 years. I have worked in a few shops both in this area and the Washington, DC area. I have been professionally taught, graduating from the Maryland School of Dog Grooming in Silver Spring, MD.  more years ago than I want to remember! ;) I try to attend grooming seminars at least once a year to keep up on the latest in grooming techniques, the newest products and most up to date procedures.

 The shops I have worked in schedule the same way as most other shops and veterinary clinics do~ Drop the dog off in the morning, then come back and pick them up in the afternoon. Why?  Well, to put it plainly, that is the easiest way to make the most money grooming.  You can do what is called "Assembly Line Grooming" that way. 

I don't want to be like everyone else, I want my shop to be as different and unique as each pet and owner are.
I think each pet should be seen as special, because they ARE.  I don't see them as "dollar signs" I see them as a member of the family and I treat them the way I would want my own pets treated. My pets are my "children" and I know everyone feels the same way I do.
